MATTHEW CALVERT

Matthew is the president and founder of MHC Financial Inc., providing strategic vision and leadership direction for his team of specialized advisors and staff. He also works closely with business owners, providing guidance and direction, by implementing comprehensive financial and wealth management plans that ensure his clients receive transparent advice and exceptional service.

For 25 years, Matthew has continually added to his education with licensing in the life insurance, group benefits, investment funds and private capital arenas, and language studies in South America and Japan. Since 2005, Matthew has grown his business to serve many of BC and Alberta’s best businesses and families. Matthew has been instrumental in raising capital for some of Canada’s fastest growing companies, while providing a stable environment for MHC’s many investor clients to reach their full potential. Using his expertise, Matthew is proud to have invested over 120 million dollars into Canada’s economy.

For the last 35 years, Matthew has been involved with LDS charities and has donated 23,000+ hours of his time to community focused relief efforts, including providing shelter for the homeless, food for the hungry and medical equipment to those in need. He also has taught classes on financial awareness, budgeting and English as a second language.

Enjoying the very best of Prince George, Matthew can be found quadding on our many trails and fishing in the summer, while in the winter, cheering on his three sons on the ski hill or enjoying a hot drink and a snuggle with his wife of 23 years, Melissa. Matthew also suffers from the travel bug, traveling outside of Canada in excess of three years of his life; visiting countries all over the world.
